A coworker of had the fortune to travel to Switzerland and brought back a milk chocolate bar from a fine chocolate store there. Here is my experience how it taste. First, I should have kept a complete blank mind of expectations. My taste buds are so accustomed to America's version of milk chocolate that it created a taste bias. As a piece melted in my mouth, it had an incredibly silky smooth texture. The first thing I noticed how subtle the sweetness was in comparison to most milk chocolates I've tried in my life. Nothing was overpowering, but nothing was exceptionally distinct about it. Honestly, it was on the bland side and wanted more chocolate out of it. I think a truer test would have been trying a dark chocolate. Anyways, that's all for this one. I'd love to a do a chocolate tour of Europe someday.
